We’re bringing Contra Dance back to Miami—a joyful folk tradition that became popular in New England and Appalachia, similar to square dancing but danced in long lines. No experience needed! A live caller will guide every step, so you can simply laugh, move, and join the fun.

💃 Expect plenty of bumping into each other, dancing, and joyful hoots & hollers!

🎶 This special evening features The Lost City String Band, weaving old-time music tunes rooted in Appalachia, Scotland, Ireland, and beyond—with banjo, fiddle, guitar, and percussion creating nostalgic, grounding melodies that root us in joy.

For all ages and all kinds of people—come alone, with family, or with anyone you’d like. A beautiful opportunity for lighthearted fun, community connection, and toe-tapping tunes.
