Celebrate the culmination of Natalie’s internship through the Miami Community ResilientSea Project!
During her time with Debris Free Oceans, Little Havana resident Natalie Gonzalez led four inland cleanups in her neighborhood, engaging local residents and contributing to a cleaner, healthier community.
In this hybrid presentation, Natalie will share her internship journey, key takeaways, and lessons learned about community engagement, sustainability, and building a more resilient Miami. Light bites will be provided for in-person attendees, and you can also .

The Miami Community ResilientSea Project is Miami-Dade’s new sustainability initiative serving Little Havana and other communities. It engages residents in environmental activities that protect against heat, pollution, and flooding. Partner organizations include The CLEO Institute, Miami Waterkeeper, Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Rescue a Reef, and Debris Free Oceans, providing access to environmental opportunities across Miami-Dade.
