MIAMI CHILDREN’S MUSEUM INTERACTIVE FAMILY FUN AT SHOPS AT MIDTOWN MIAMI

Bring the kids for FREE seasonal art and activities with the Miami Children’s Museum at The Shops at Midtown Miami, 3401 North Miami Avenue, once a month from September to December.

The activities will take place at the center’s M Park located near West Elm and Nordstrom Rack.

On Saturday, September 10 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., get the new school year off to an out-of-this-world start. Create whimsical night skies based on colorful, far-away galaxies. Pink, purple and blue-hued paints will be accented by celestial objects made of aluminum foil in these take-home masterpieces.

On Saturday, October 8 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., bring the family for a special Halloween show featuring “Monsters Under the Bed.” There will be two performances: one at 12 pm and one a 2 pm. The show is 45 minutes long.

On Saturday, November12 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., create your own Thanksgiving holiday placemats using leaves from local South Florida forests. Make rubbings and arrange them in a create laminated collage that can be taken home and shared.

On Saturday, December 10 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., get into the spirit of the holiday season with a musical story time as you read stories and sing songs, while celebrating various cultures.
