Mia and The Mantids are headlining their DEBUT SHOW at Bar Open on the 29th of November, supported by Eden Hawkins and LEECH JERKY!!!
Expect an eclectic mix of original jazz-inspired pop and rock music, telling stories about embracing one's individuality, reflections on how we maintain relationships with the people we hold dear and, most importantly, BUGS!
Vocalist Mia Christiansen (lifelong bug-and-insect-lover and mover-of-snails-off-the-footpath-because-she-is-worried-someone-will-step-on-them-by-accident) leads and writes for The Mantids, consisting of James Caddie (drums), Arlo Autumnus (bass), Caleb Elbourne (keys) and Owen Wilkins (guitar). Their tunes are sure to have you shuffling your scutella and popping your pronota, so make sure you make way for Mia and The Mantids!
