Since most of you punks and dorks are going to be busy the weekend before, I'm having my summertime kickoff BBQ this weekend. BYOB but there should be plenty of Modelo for you empty-handed cheapskates. Bring a friend or plus-one, or even the whole family.

I'll be manning two grills and a smoker, and it's nothing but wings and burgers (I'll probably do some ribs, too). If anyone wants to volunteer to bring sides like tater/macaroni/egg salad, regular salad, baked beans, chili, etc let me know so I don't have to cook or buy extra stuff. It would be much appreciated.
The old plasma flatscreen will be playing cheesy 80s action movies, the beat up boom box will either be blasting Bob Marley or Marty Robbins, and the firepit and tiki torches will be lit.
Doggie-friendly, so long as they're sociable with other dogs and kids (and so long as you pick up their poo in my backyard). This is a family-friendly event with kids, young teens, and even some old people. Act, dress, and drink appropriately. This is listed as a public event, so it can be shared amongst mutual friends I might've missed - but it most certainly is private, and weirdos I don't know who clicked the "going" or "interested" buttons will be removed.
I may have invited some cool dudes that nowadays live a little too far away to join in. That's ok, I didn't know 🤷‍♂️ But if you're passing thru, come on by.
