Mezzanine are a power pop/rock trio from Wiltshire with an energetic live performance and an eclectic list of influences that including the likes of Pixies, The Police and Dinosaur Jr. Originally formed in the late 90s by Tim Owen (Bass) & Andy Ashley (Guitar & Vocals) they gigged and recorded before splitting a few years later. Then after a 23 year hiatus, a chance meeting brought them back together. They added Simon Hancock (Drums) to the lineup who also drums with bands such as the Dollyrots and Painted Bird, and they started writing and gigging new material as well as playing a few of their old songs from back in the 90s. They have just finished recording a new EP with 5 original songs, the first track of which, ‘Lycra’ is available on all good streaming services.Support from URSA WAY - a band originating from Swindon that make Britpop-inspired music.
