About this Event
Alex Jandernoa, Marketing Director of Banhez Mezcal ,will join us for an evening of artisanal mezcal tastings paired with cheese-centric small plates. Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery's cheese maker and chef, Mark Shoemaker, will craft small plates to accompany each type of mezcal. Need tempting? Here's the menu:
1. Mezcal: Tepeztateplate: tomato, tamarind, hibiscus geleé with shaved pelota roja
2. Mezcal: Cuisheplate: Halloumi (Gidget’s grilling cheese), Mexican cola glaze , smoked paw paw, lime
3. Mezcal: Ensamble Espadin and Barrilplate: Mexican rice arancini, cow milk mozzarella, pineapple
4. Mezcal: Tobalaplate: Fire roasted squash, black goat, cocoa, mole
5. Tepache Cocktail with Ensamble Espadin and Barrilplate: goat milk gelato swirled with cajeta and persimmon
