Mexican Lager Launch Party & Pig Roast
Every week, we send our spent grain — the malt left over after we brew our beer — to Fernandes Farm, a local farm that uses it to feed their pigs.

On Saturday, June 27th, two of those pigs are coming back to Foolproof for the launch of our new Mexican Lager.
We're roasting them whole in our courtyard to celebrate the launch of our new Mexican Lager. The grain that brewed the beer fed the pig that's on your plate. A full circle, local moment showcasing how breweries can come together with local farmers to help sustainable, local farming practices right here in Connecticut.
What your ticket includes
- Two (2) draft beer tickets per person
- A full plate of whole-hog roast — Pulled and Sliced Pork, Brewhouse Mac & Cheese, Elote Mexican Street Corn, Mango Slaw
- Live music in the courtyard
- Access to our full à la carte menu (see below) for additional food and drinks

Time: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (taproom remains open after for regular service — feel free to stay)
Location: Foolproof Brewing Co., 800 Union Avenue, Bridgeport, CT
Setting: Outdoor courtyard event with ample seating and indoor taproom available
Age: 21+ for beer service. Under-21 guests welcome with a Food Only ticket and an accompanying adult.

Early Bird — $30 (limited to first 25 — once they're gone, they're gone)
General Admission — $45
Last Call — $55 (opens June 21)
Designated Driver / Food Only — $30 — full plate plus one non-alcoholic beverage
Weather plan
This is an outdoor event, but we have you covered. If it rains, the action moves into the indoor taproom. The pig still roasts. The beer still flows. We will email all ticket-holders by Wednesday June 24th if there are any weather-related changes.
Good to know
Parking: Free lot adjacent to the brewery, plus street parking on Union Avenue.
Refunds: Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable. If you can't make it, give yours to a friend.
