Everyone’s favorite night of writerly adventure returns to TV Eye with a final session before going on break for a film residency.
The mind-melting line-up for our September 19th will look a lot like this:
Cristine Brache is an artist and filmmaker living and working in New York. She received her MFA in Fine Art Media from the Slade School of Fine Art (London, UK). Her debut poetry collection, entitled Poems, was published in 2018 by Codétte. Her work has been exhibited internationally at galleries, institutions, and festivals like Berlinische Galerie, ICA Miami, Slamdance, and anonymous gallery. Her work has been critically reviewed in places such as The New York Times, Artforum, The New Yorker, and The Los Angeles Review of Books.
Garrett Phelps was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1990. His work has been published by many online and print publications, including BOMB, The Brooklyn Rail, Blush, The Poetry Project Newsletter, Action Books, and Fence. He lives in New York City.
Our host for the Metropolis Literary Salon, Jeffrey Wengrofsky, a New York City native, has nearly 90 publications, including The Wolfboy of Rego Park (Far West Press). Wengrofsky is also the curator of the Secrets of the Dead Short Film Festival, and will soon begin a monthly film residency at TV Eye.
