Metra Lot Concert: Sixteen Candles

Celebrate Independence Day with your family, friends and neighbors!

Come on out to the Metra Parking Lot on Friday, July 2 for an evening with Sixteen Candles! Experience the nostalgia and energy of the greatest decade of music — the 1980's! Entertaining audiences since 2003, Sixteen Candles travels the country to bring 80's music to life in full force for a memorable and exciting concert experience that you won't soon forget.

NEW!! Barrington's School of Rock House Band will do an opening set before the concert begins! House Band features the brightest shining young rockstars of School of Rock Barrington. All active students in the school, these amazing musicians will blow you away with an incredible cover repertoire of famous rock hits ranging from the 1960's British invasion to alternative rock of the 21st century, and everything in between!

Bring your takeout or your picnic and have a socially distanced tailgate party in the Metra Lot. Generously sponsored by Barrington Bank & Trust.

Tickets are $25 PER VEHICLE (up to six people maximum per vehicle).

Patrons will be asked to adhere to the following during the concert:

*Please stay with your own party within the immediate vicinity of your vehicle.

*You may exit your vehicle and bring your own chairs, small tables, food, and drinks, but please do not congregate with other concert-goers in the drive-aisles or near the depot. PLEASE STAY WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

*Maximum of six people per vehicle.

*All patrons are asked to wear masks as appropriate.

*Porta-Potties will be in the lots as well as public restrooms at the Train Depot.

*No wood or charcoal fire pits allowed.

*The North Commuter Lot will be closed at 9:30 p.m. following the concert. Please exit the lot in a timely and safe manner. **If you need to leave your car overnight in the Metra Lot, please call 847-304-3300 to let the Police Dept. know.

If we have to cancel this event for any reason, the concert will be rescheduled and your ticket will be honored.
