Discover the art of metalsmithing in this hands-on workshop designed for beginners. Explore fundamental techniques and learn to transform sheet metal into stunning, handcrafted jewelry pieces! Sterling silver we will available for students to make a custom pendant, ring, or pair of earrings, and gold filled wire will be available to make one of a kind rings.
Under expert guidance, students will practice soldering with an acetylene torch, texturizing with metal stamps and planishing hammers, and setting stones. By the end of the class, participants will create a ready-to-wear pendant, ring, or pair of earrings to take home.
This workshop is open to students aged 13 and up, and no prior experience is necessary. All materials are included in the tuition. Join us and dive into the world of metalsmithing!
