Official Stern Army "Metallica Remastered" Launch Party on December 15 at 1pm! Doors open at noon. The top 3 high-score finishers on the Stern Leaderboard on the new remastered Metallica by 4PM will win Metallica related prizes and split the cash pot (pot size depends on how many players). We are also running an IFPA pinball tournament which will start at 1PM. All skill levels and ages 15+ are welcome to join! This will be an IFPA Sanctioned 6 round Group Match Play tournament with Top Half moving on to an Amazing Race Finals. Top 3 players will get custom pinball medallion trophies.
This should be a fun event promoting the new Stern Metallica pinball machine. The jukebox is set on Metallica. We will have both Stern Metallica's (original and remastered) setup side by side. Most of the games will have a headphone station installed so you can actually hear the games. We added a new couch for more seating options. There is a $20 entry fee (cash only) to cover food, snacks, cookies, hotdogs, drinks (soda/water), Metallica themed prizes/cash payouts for the top 3 Metallica players, and medallion trophies for the top 3 winners of the group match play IFPA participants. All machines are set to free play. We plan on having 27 pinball machines up and running for play.
