We are BACK for the first time this year! Option for workshop and / or performance project! READ ON....Dancing to "Square Hammer" and “Spillways” by GHOST - Fusion Bellydancers can unite over their love of the dark side with a juicey bit of dark satanic rock to get us going into the Summer. The workshop is suitable for all levels (although those attending the PP are expected to be an intermediate standard as a minimum). There will of course be options for more experienced / advanced dancers! Expect funky foot work, lyrical lines, isolation challenges and singalongable dance moves!
WORKSHOP:
Sunday 21st June 2-4pm Husky Studios (studio 5). Please note that the studio opens 5 mins before so try not to arrive too early!
PERFORMANCE PROJECT
This will be for performance at GOTHLA UK's Open stage on Saturday 11th July in Leicester - Dancers are required to attend 1 x workshop over the Gothla weekend and purchase an open stage ticket to be elligable. This option is suitable for intermediate / advanced dancers ..
Requirements for PP: Either attend the workshop or learn online! Combos will be submitted to all participants following the live workshop and you are expected to know the choreo to the best of your ability by the rehearsal.
Rehearsal: Sunday 5th July LONDON pm (time tbc probably 1-4 or 2-5) this will be for 3 hours and we will be adding in formations, movement etc. It is mandatory to attend the rehearsal to perform.
Costuming: Mermaid skirt (or similar) black crop (or whatever you're comfy in) Metal belt and lots of jewellery!
