Messy Pottery

The word "messy" is intentional. Fingerprints, uneven edges, and unexpected shapes often make a piece unique.

Every session starts with a short creative check-in, so people quickly feel part of the group. Then you'll shape, decorate, and enjoy creating with your hands. Many people leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.

🏺 Hand Building – Shape a new piece from clay using simple hand-building techniques.

🎨 Glazing – Decorate and glaze a piece you made in an earlier session.

You don't need any experience.

We'll guide you every step of the way.

We bring all the materials.

Can I come alone? Absolutely. Many people come on their own. Joining solo is completely normal here. There is nothing to get right, and no pressure to create something impressive.

Do I need any experience? No. This workshop is designed for complete beginners, and we guide you through every step.

What language is it in? English-friendly. You do not need any German to take part.

Are materials included? Yes. Clay, tools, glazes, and firing are all included.

Do I use a pottery wheel?
No. You’ll use hand-building techniques to create your own pottery piece.

What happens to my pottery after the workshop?
Your piece will be bisque-fired in our kiln. After around 4 weeks, you’ll return for a second session to glaze (paint) it. The full process takes around 6 weeks from creating your piece to pickup.
