This season, the Salisbury Symphony is honored to present G.F. Since its easter-time premiere in Dublin in 1742, The Messiah has transcended its time, uniting audiences across centuries with its profound beauty, dramatic power, and spiritual depth. Handel’s inspired score, from its noble overture to the majestic “Hallelujah” chorus culminating in the monumentally inspiring final “Amen” chorus, traces a sweeping narrative of prophecy, sacrifice, and redemption, offering moments of both intimate reflection and exultant triumph.
