Come and follow the presentation of a writer's journey to Angkor in Cambodia and embark on your own inner journey into one of the greatest mysteries of life: Is there such thing as life eternal?
"For years now, I felt the calling to visit Angkor, the mysterious temple ruins in the jungles of Cambodia - not for the mere beauty of it, but in order to hunt for a story. It is the story of Michael Maier, a Renaissance alchemist from the court of Rudolf II, the emperor who built his own school of magic in the Prague castle. When Michael embarks on a quest for the elixir of life, he finds out many secrets and brews a powerful elixir, yet also makes one crucial mistake - that he needs to correct, even after centuries of living, dying, and living again..."
At this event, you will be invited to follow along not just a presentation of a fascinating journey to one of the most mysterious places on Earth, we are also going to embark on a shared inner journey to experience some of the topics of exploration.
There will be also time for tea and talk, meet and mingle, meet old friends and new ones, and appreciation for this great - sometimes terrible, sometimes beautiful - mystery called Life.
