Learn how to work with merino and thermal knit fabrics to create your own high-quality base layer top — perfect for winter layering. You’ll walk away with great new skills and a garment you’re proud of. Suitable for all body types.
Bonus: We highly encourage you to join the Overlocker Class on Saturday 26th July to sharpen your finishing skills — it pairs perfectly with this workshop!
Please provide your chest sizing and preferred fit during registration so we can prepare your graded patterns.

Taught by William Roper
Will is a skilled sewist with a BA in Fashion Technology and Design from ARA in Christchurch. Add to that having worked in tailoring and alterations as well as a time as a sewing machine mechanic makes Will well placed to help you with all your sewing, pattern making, and machine needs. He loves to share his knowledge and finds great joy in helping other succeed with their creative projects.
