Formed in the East Village of New York City in 1991 by a group of punk rockers/artists/ad guys/jazz musicians, Mephiskapheles played its first show on Long Island. From day one, the band began attracting a diverse, dedicated fan base. Sold-out NYC gigs led to tours with the Buzzcocks and GWAR, and hits on the Hawaiian Islands Chart with three singles from the band's first album, 1994's God Bless Satan, produced by Bill Laswell. While touring relentlessly, Mephiskapheles followed-up in 1997 with Maximum Perversion, a jazz-influenced work that didn't take long to be hailed as a classic. A deal in 1999 with Koch Records resulted in the band's hard-hitting, exploratory third album, Might-Ay White-Ay. The band released the self-titled EP Mephiskapheles in 2015, featuring the single "Satan Stole My W**d," an instant classic. The Never Born Again EP, released in 2019, brings the band back full circle to its dark and melodic roots. Fronted by lead singer Invidious aka the Nubian Nightmare, along with the hottest rhythm section in New York, and the Horns of Hell, Mephiskapheles spreads its evil seed with an ongoing reissue program, epic shows, and new music to be released this year.

Out of the cold northern towns of New Hampshire’s music scene a new sound has been heating things up: The Selectmen are an 8-piece band delivering a high-energy fusion of ska and soul, energized by classic rock n’ roll.Initially formed in 2022 as a 4 piece, the band gradually added members that brought in a diverse array of influences and styles. Through the slow simmer of time and a few name changes (Mid Life Crisis, POP!), the band evolved into “The Selectmen” in January of 2026. The Selectmen sound is a unique blend of modern and vintage with a musical message that is grounded in catchy hooks and undeniable grooves. Their live performances have earned them a reputation for putting on a raucous and crowd pleasing show that has built a loyal and devoted following.

Dj Selah aka Selah Sagacious
He became active in the DC punk then later skinhead music scene in the 80’s, 90’s. His introduction to Two Tone changed his music trajectory which took still another turn after hearing the original JA ska tunes that had been covered by Two Tone. He immersed himself in traditional ska and then later roots, rubadub, dancehall and dub. His first published work was “Model Citizen” on The Pietasters first album. He has also been featured on other Pietasters albums including songs like, “Tasters Choice”, Drunken Master” and “Can’t Stand It”. DJ Selah continues to perform with The Pietasters and many other bands and sound systems. If he is spotted in public approach with caution
