Men’s Mental Health Awareness Run

After getting a lot of positive feedback from the local running community, I decided to go ahead and put together a simple community run for June in recognition of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
The goal is simply to bring people together in a positive environment around something that affects a lot more people than we realize. Running and fitness have given me community, camaraderie, structure, and people who helped push me to become better in every aspect of life, and I wanted to create something centered around that same kind of positive environment.
The current plan is:
• 10K route option
• 5K route option
• All paces and walkers welcome
• Meet up for a run, get some miles in together, and hang out afterward for coffee and conversation
This is intended to be a completely free, community-based event. Nothing overly formal or competitive, no registration fees, no timing system, and no pressure — just good people, good conversation, and an opportunity to build community together.
While this event is centered around Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, all people are welcome to come run, walk, support, and be part of the community.
Right now, I’m tentatively aiming for an 8 a.m. start time, but the exact start time, routes, and location are still subject to change while I continue getting feedback and learning the area a little better after my move to Corinth.
I may also need a couple volunteers to help with things like a small water station or route planning.
More updates will be posted as details get finalized.
Thank you guys again for all the support and feedback so far.
