Menzies come to Te Papaioea to play The Stomach, kicking off their Te Ika-a-Māui 'Spaghetti Land' EP tour. Joined by local legends Persimmon, and a special Pining Radiata acoustic set.
Menzies have gained a name for their arresting live performances. Off the back of their debut EP, ‘Spaghetti Land’, the post-punk Te Whanganui-a-Tara four-piece, tour Te Ika-a-Māui this July. Menzies’ live show spans rip-snorting crunching guitars, to gentle heartfelt ruminations on childhood.
They’re not a band to miss live.

Te Papaioea's own jangle-pop darlings, Persimmon draw from the contemporary garage pop scene to produce catchy indie pop songs characterised by Kiwi accents, slice-of-life lyrics, harmonies, and crisp, clean guitars.
Pining Radiata, special acoustic set:
