Tyler Wood has lived and breathed tourism his entire life. Growing up in a family that helped shape Australia’s modern travel industry, he developed a deep appreciation for the people, places, and partnerships that make tourism thrive.

With experience spanning every level of the industry from operations and logistics to strategy and leadership, Tyler brings a practical understanding of how to deliver exceptional visitor experiences while driving sustainable business growth.

In 2009, he became Owner and CEO of Bob Wood Cruise Group, guiding the company through a major phase of expansion across Australia and into Papua New Guinea. His passion for quality and innovation later inspired the creation of Guides Australia, which trains and places professional tour guides, and Global Tour Specialists, offering immersive travel experiences throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Recognised for his long-standing collaborations with global partners such as Globus and Carnival Corporation, Tyler is known for his forward-thinking approach and ability to turn opportunity into tangible outcomes. He remains a respected voice within the tourism sector, valued for his commitment to excellence, his collaborative leadership style, and his vision for a stronger, more connected future for Australian tourism.
