Mental Health Medications 101

An introduction to common psychiatric medications including antidepressants, antipsychotics, and mood stabilizers. We’ll discuss how they work, how effective they are, and how to manage potential side effects.

She has nearly a decade of experience in frontline mental health and substance use roles, and is especially passionate about advocating for health equity and harm reduction for underserved communities.

Sofia is a Doctor of Ph*rm*cy graduate from the University of Toronto and one of the Ph*rm*cy residents here at CAMH. She has developed a strong passion for reducing stigmatization of mental illness and substance use and advocating for increased access to mental health and addictions services
