Mental Health in a Black Box is a curated art experience exploring mental health through the lived experiences of the Black diaspora.
Through visual art and storytelling, Black artists make visible the things we carry, the things we hide, and the ways we find resilience, joy, release, healing, and restoration.
This isn't simply an exhibition about struggle. It's an exploration of the fullness of our humanity and an invitation to see, reflect, connect, and perhaps understand something differently.
Join us for an afternoon featuring:
ART: Original works exploring mental health, identity, and lived experience
MUSIC: A curated soundtrack setting the atmosphere
FOOD: Heavy hors d'oeuvres included with admission
