Much like physical first aid, it empowers participants to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health challenge until professional help is available. Learning about mental health first aid helps reduce stigma around mental health challenges, promotes early intervention, and fosters a more supportive community.
By equipping caregivers with these vital skills, we create safer environments where older adults feel empowered to seek help and support.
Individuals who complete a course are certified by National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
