About this Event

Welcome to Mental Health First Aid!

Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions. Learn more: pictured below.

Lunch will be provided courtesy of Draper with vegan, vegetarian, and Kosher dietary needs. If you have other dietary restrictions, please let us know.

This event will come with a mandatory 2-hour pre-event assignment and a post-event assessment that must be completed to participate.


Note: Registration is limited to 30 participants. Contact [email protected] to inquire about waitlist.

Due to limited ticket availability this event is open to registered WID members only. Email WID if you are not a member but are interested. If tickets remain they will be released to non-members first-come-first-serve

Registration will close by September 16 or when all 30 spots have been spoken for.
