If you have ever listened to a colleague or family member in confidence or ever needed support yourself you will know how valuable good listening skills and a general understanding of mental health and ill-health can be.
Mental Health First Aid equips anyone who is willing to learn with the knowledge and practical skills they need to support a friend colleague or loved one with stress or other mental health issues. It is not a substitute for qualified professional help. But it does enable ordinary people to be present and signpost those who need them to medical or psychological services.
Join us for the new 2-day Adult Mental Health First Aid course accredited by MHFA England. This course comes with 3 years' personal support a comprehensive handbook and a nationally recognised certificate of participation. The course instructor is Howie Javed a nationally accredited MHFA trainer and consultant.
