This year, the Mental Health Legislative Network is hosting Mental Health Advocacy Week from March 23 to March 26, 2026 at the Minnesota State Capitol and across the state of Minnesota. The week is designed to bring more people into advocacy work by offering opportunities to learn about key issues, meet with legislators, and participate in activities that support access to mental health and substance use care. The week will conclude with a rally at the State Capitol Rotunda on Thursday, March 26 at 11:00 AM. When you register to participate, you can indicate how you plan to be involved, including attending the rally, meeting with lawmakers in person or remotely, or holding a local event in your own community. The theme this year is “Keep the Door Open for Mental Health Care,” and all are encouraged to make their voices heard and help advance legislative priorities that support mental health care access.
