About this Event
About the Event
Good Period is a 100% For-Purpose business built in Hong Kong. We give employers everything they need to stay ahead of shifting regulations around menstrual health in the workplace, from periods to menopause. Through a purpose-driven procurement model, profits are reinvested into our social mission, supporting menstrual health for underserved local communities.
This evening marks twelve months of that work. We're bringing the people behind it into one room — corporate partners who've taken this on inside their own businesses, expert speakers who've helped shape the conversation, and the NGO collaborators we work alongside on the ground — to share what's actually changed.
Conversations will cover:
- Why menstrual and menopause health have moved from wellbeing perks to workplace leadership issues — including new standards and global regulations leaders need to know
- What this actually delivers for employee engagement, culture and retention — told by the corporate leaders already doing the work
- Why procurement budget is the most scalable lever for social impact, and the employee engagement opportunity this creates
- The meaningful impact already underway — both inside workplaces and in the Hong Kong communities facing period poverty
This evening is designed for leaders across HR, ESG, DEI, procurement, workplace culture and operations who are interested in building workplaces that create impact both inside and beyond the office.
Speakers:
- Olivia Cotes-James — Founder of award-winning menstrual care company, LUÜNA, and founding team at Good Period
- Emily Au-Young — CEO of New Zealand-based menstrual health NGO, Reemi, and founding team Good Period
- Dr Laurena Law — clinician with a focus on menstrual and menopause health, and strategic advisor for Good Period
- Benita Chick — DEI expert and Good Period's corporate education lead, specialising in educating teams on menstrual and menopause health
- Bhaven Sheth — Global Head of Marketing Strategy & Insights, HSBC Asset Management, on why male leaders can't stay silent on menstrual health, and how HSBC moved from conversation to commitment.
- Senior leaders from leading menstrual health-inclusive workplaces in Hong Kong (to be announced)
