Call me old fashion, but I still believe in men being the head of households.
No matter what a woman's title, how much money she makes, or who her daddy is, a man's place in a household is the leader.
I see a lot of men in my community hurting. When I say hurting, I mean your heart is heavy. You are being weighed down by all these expectations of the world , your family, and those that you have assigned to yourself.
There is truma that has never been dealt with, abandonment that has never been addressed, and you feel like you are all alone. You feel like nobody wants to hear you, and even when you do attempt to share, nobody listens.
This event is for you and others like you to come together and share with one another some of what you are going through, how you get through, got through or cope with the things you face as a man.
I can't take any credit for this event. God told me to do something, and I am being obedient.
