Family Health, the primary care division of the Mobile County Health Department, is proud to join communities across the nation in recognizing June as Men's Health Month — a time dedicated to raising awareness of the health challenges that disproportionately affect men and encouraging early prevention, detection, and treatment.
This year, MCHD has organized a series of events across Mobile County designed to meet men where they are — in their neighborhoods, workplaces, and faith communities. From free health screenings to open community conversations, these activities reflect the 2026 national theme: “Partners in Care: Advancing Men's Health Through Connection, Education, and Advocacy Across the Lifespan.”
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, Family Health will partner with WALA-TV to conduct a Men’s Health Outreach Event at the Fox10 Studios (1501 Satchel Paige Drive in Mobile) from Family Health’s Mobile Medical Unit. Mason Wade, FNP-C, AAHIVS, will provide health screenings such as blood pressure checks, weight checks, and body mass index calculations. Rozalia Pitruzzello, DMD, MS, will offer dental screenings.

Walk-in and same-day appointments are available at many sites — ensuring that cost and transportation are not barriers to receiving essential care.
