urpose. Meaning. Significance. Every man is on a quest for value and fulfillment in this life. We all want to know that our life mattered and there is a reason that we are here. One of the greatest fears we all face is living a life under the sun that simply has no impact. One man had a chance to experience everything this world has to offer and he still came up wanting. King Solomon lived a life that most men would dream about. Endless power, riches, influence, women, and possessions….he had everything his heart desired and yet to him it was all an empty chase and vain pursuit. As men, we can either dump our own lives into the void, or learn from Solomon’s example and choose wisdom over this world.
Beginning July 15th, ManUp will be going through the Book of Ecclesiastes in a study called, After the Void: How One Man Had Everything But God. We’ll journey together through the vanities of life, certainty of eternity, and discover how we are to live as God’s men in the here and now, and also for the hereafter. Men, there is a reason you are here. There is a divine call upon you. There is life After the Void.
