Menopause is a natural process in a woman’s life, scientifically described as the period that begins when there are no monthly periods for a consecutive 12 months. For years, perimenopausal symptoms have been neglected, with women struggling in silence to cope with all the changes happening to their bodies and their mind.

Recently, doctors started focusing on the symptoms and treatment of menopause which have been negatively impacting a woman’s performance in all areas of their life. It comes as no surprise that menopause has been a taboo subject for many years, which has not only led to a lack of correct information but a lack of confidence, too. However, as the world realises how important topics like menopause are, and as we help raise awareness on the process and the changes which come along for the ride, women are now able to not only receive more knowledge but use helpful tips to help get them through the ‘big change’.

Through the Menopause Project, we aim to educate women on how to deal with menopause before and during the process, allowing for a smoother transition for all.
