About this Event
Buffalo women deserve real conversations about menopause.
Join us for Menopause and the Buffalo Woman, an evening of community, connection, and empowerment focused on midlife, menopause, and women’s health.
For too long, menopause has been misunderstood, overlooked, or treated like something women have to figure out on their own. This event offers a space for open conversation, shared understanding, and practical insight for women navigating midlife and beyond.
The evening will feature Dr. Kemi Doll — gynecologist, author, and nationally recognized advocate for women’s health — in conversation with Buffalo’s own Common Council Majority Leader Leah Halton-Pope on menopause, health equity, and the importance of helping women feel informed, supported, and seen. Guests will also have the opportunity to receive a complimentary copy of Dr. Doll’s book, A Terrible Strength, while supplies last.
This event is for women who want better information, deeper understanding, and a stronger sense of connection around their health.
Come to be informed.
Come to be encouraged.

Leave with greater clarity, deeper connection, and practical tools to take charge of your health.
