Join Vesper Chorale this November for Mending the Sky, a transformative choral journey centered on resilience, community, and collective healing.
Anchored by Jake Runestad’s evocative anthem "We Can Mend the Sky," the program traces a path from vulnerability toward enduring light. Timeless sacred masterworks by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Arvo Pärt, and Hubert Parry provide deep spiritual resonance, while compelling contemporary selections by Elaine Hagenberg, Zanaida Stewart Robles, and Jocelyn Hagen offer poignant reflections on unity and courage. Stirring spiritual arrangements by Shawn Okpebholo and Moses Hogan sit alongside soulful settings of popular songs, bridging traditions to celebrate the bonds that sustain us.
Rich in dynamic contrast and emotional breadth, Mending the Sky invites audiences to discover solace, shared strength, and renewal through the uplifting power of song.
