Mending for the Revolution

Bring your worn or ill-fitting clothes for a clothing swap, followed by an instructional workshop on basic mending and alterations.

We’ll cover how to fix a seam, visible and invisible ways to mend holes in woven and knit fabrics, and what to do with your clothing that’s beyond repair. We’ll also talk about how to alter your clothing for gender affirmation.

Bring a piece of clothing that needs repair, or fabrics to work on will be provided for you. Having some basic sewing experience is helpful, but not required.

Tickets are required. Thanks to funding from Project Rainbow, a limited number of free tickets are available. Paid tickets are available on a sliding-scale donation basis.
