Mendelssohn & Beethoven

Join us this October in London and at the Menuhin Hall in Cobham for a vibrant programme featuring Mendelssohn’s sun-drenched Italian Symphony, paired with Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3 - dark, dramatic and with a slow movement of almost unbearable beauty.
Sitting alongside these two icons of the classical repertoire are two pieces of music that are new to London. Judith Weir’s characteristically precise and transparent Planet, inspired by an 18th century planetarium and the evocative London Landscapes by Malcolm Singer.
