Do you have clothing that requires a quick fix to be wearable again? Easy! Have a cup of tea while we sew on buttons, close small rips or mis-stitched seams, sew on patches and fix partially undone hems. Sewing assistance is free, but donations are welcome to pay for consumables and beverages.
❤️? Clothing, fabric remnants and 100% natural fibre and/or milled in Australia fabrics will also be offered for sale.

***Please note, this session is only intended for small repairs that you won’t necessarily take to your alteration specialist, but if fixed will quickly revitalise your cupboard.

Although we will happily discuss upcycling with you, due to time constraints we cannot replace zippers, do complete hem changes, alterations or repairs to restyle a garment. Volunteers have the right to refuse a job if it is too time consuming or too complicated and will advise you to visit an alteration specialist or seamstress instead. ?
No clothing can be dropped off for repairs to be picked up later.
