THE HARDEST PART ISN’T THE WALK. IT’S THE CAR PARK.
I know exactly how it feels. You’ve seen the post. You drive to the meeting point... and then you’ve sat in your car with the engine still running wondering if you should just turn around and go home.
❓What if I don't have anything to say?
❓What if it's awkward?
❓What if I’m not 'struggling enough' to be there?
None of that matters as;
🚶There are no clipboards.
🚶🏻‍♂️There are no introductions where you have to state your problems.
🚶There is no expectation for you to be anything other than a guy on a path.
🚶🏻‍♂️We walk side by side, so you don't have to hold eye contact. You can talk for an hour, you can walk in silence and just listen or you can bring your pooch for the familiar face.
Life can be hard. Whether it’s work, family, finances, or just a general sense of being stuck, you weren't meant to carry it all in isolation. Getting out into the fresh air with other men who "get it" is often the best medicine there is.
