Bensőséges kanadai indie a Dürer Kertben: újra Budapestre jön a Men I Trust.
Ötödik és hatodik stúdióalbumával járja a világot a Men I Trust, az Equus turné 2026. június 26-án Budapestre érkezik, hogy 2022-es teltházas koncertjük után ismét a magyar közönséghez szóljanak bensőséges indie dallamaik.

A 2014-ben alakult kanadai indie zenekar csendesen, saját útját követve mélyen bevéste magát a zenei színtérbe. Álomszerű hangzásukkal a dream pop és az indie jegyeit keverő trió tagjai Emma Proulx (gitár, ének), Jessy Caron (gitár, basszusgitár) és Dragos Chiriac (billentyűk), már világszerte megtalálták közönségüket, zenéjükre nyitott emberek tömegei várják koncertjeiket. Első lemezük még Jessy és Dragos közös produkciójaként indult, Emma először a 2015-ös Headroom címre keresztelt albumon énekelt néhány dalt, ami olyan jól sikerült, hogy a 2016-tól trióvá formálta a zenekart, azóta pedig hárman alakítják a zenekar útját.
Ezután két stúdiólemezzel és élő felvételekkel ragadták meg a közönség figyelmét, amely 2021-ben a Covid miatt csak otthoni kiadásban megvalósuló Tiny Desk koncertjüknek köszönhetően csak még szélesebb lett. 2022-ben Magyarországon is jártak, a Trafóban teltház előtt álltak színpadra, most pedig két újabb lemezzel térnek vissza. Az idén megjelent Equus Asinus és Equus Caballus a zenekar megszokott hagyományaival építkezik tovább, hipnotikus dallamaival és magával ragadó ének hangzásával mással össze nem keverhető hangulatot hordoz magában.
A Men I Trust hatása túlmutat a saját maguk által készített felvételeik sikerén. Visszafogott, mégis erőteljes élő előadásaik valódi és bensőséges zenei élményt nyújtanak a közönségnek. With their fifth and sixth studio albums, Men I Trust are touring the world, and their Equus Tour will arrive in Budapest on June 26, 2026, where they will once again bring their intimate indie melodies to Hungarian audiences following their sold-out 2022 show.
Formed in 2014, the Canadian indie band has quietly but steadily carved out a deep place in the music scene, staying true to their own artistic path. With their dreamy sound blending elements of dream pop and indie, the trio — Emma Proulx (guitar, vocals), Jessy Caron (guitar, bass), and Dragos Chiriac (keyboards) — has found a global audience, with crowds around the world eagerly awaiting their concerts. Their first album began as a collaboration between Jessy and Dragos; Emma first appeared singing a few tracks on their 2015 album Headroom, and the result was so successful that the band became a trio in 2016. Since then, the three of them have shaped the group’s artistic direction together.
