This festival is part of the growing movements of sustainability, healthy cooking and legalization of all plant food and medicine. The public is calling for more local farms, organic foods, humanely raised meats, and natural medicine to combat our modern health epidemics. Our goal is to teach you all about the wild and wonderful world of mushrooms with lectures, classes, cooking demos, nature forays and more. There is Yoga in the morning.
There are educators, speakers, cooking demos, expert-led forays, interactive learning stations, & an entire 13,000 acre forest to explore.
To get the most out of the festival:
1) Rent a campsite or group camp site at Shelby Forest
2) Invite a fun and creative group
3) Come join us in Shelby Forest May 26-30, 2022
4) Bring costumes, musical instruments, lights, something to teach, share or show
5) Leave all your worries behind for a few days and come have a blast with us in the forest.
?The fun will be centered around the campsites and the Whatever Stage (Sponsored by, you guessed it, Whatever Shops here in Memphis!). Your campsite is your theme camp that you can do as you wish. Come to teach, share, and learn. ?
