Memory Locket: Fused Glass Pendant Workshop
About this Event
A gentle creative workshop exploring memory, connection and remembrance.
Create a unique fused glass pendant inspired by a loved one or a special memory. Using colourful millefiori glass flowers, shimmering glass powders and your choice of glass base, you'll design a small keepsake.
No experience is needed. You'll be guided through the process step by step in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. After the workshop, your pendant will be professionally kiln-fired, finished with sterling silver findings and chain, and posted directly to you.

Enjoy a calm, mindful making session suitable for all levels
Optional reflection
At the end of the session, there will be a gentle opportunity for reflection. You may wish to share a memory, write a personal message, or simply sit quietly with your thoughts. There is no expectation to speak, and participation is entirely optional.
The session will be led by Rita Griskonyte who has nearly 15 years of experience across a wide range of glassmaking techniques. Laura Barrett, Community Bereavement Projects Lead at St. Oswald's Hospice will also be in attendance to provide support to anyone who needs it.
