Are you caring for a loved one living with memory impairment? Join senior care experts from Heritage Green Assisted Living and Memory Care, along with other dementia care professionals, for a free Memory Care Support Group offering informative sessions designed to support family caregivers. The next session will be held on Tuesday, June 9, at 1 p.m., at 201 Lillian Lane in Lynchburg.
Join us for Part 2 of “Seeing it From the Other Side: Caregiver Stress and Dementia Coping Strategies.” This video workshop features dementia care specialist Teepa Snow, founder of the Positive Approach to Care®. Her insightful teachings help care partners further understand the needs and experiences of those living with the effects of dementia through care strategies that focus on empathy, brain changes, and reducing caregiver stress. A free lunch of sandwiches, chips and dessert will be provided.
