This Memory Café special event will offers a social outing in a dementia-friendly space where all are welcome. We'll enjoy flute music and storytelling from Robert Roe, The Osage Wind Rider. Roe performs original compositions with hand-crafted Native American style flutes. He is a flute musician, flute maker, teacher, student and recording artist. His musical style has been influenced by artists such as R. Carols Nakai, David R. Miracle, John Two Hawks and Coyote Old Man. Fidget quilts and other comfort measures will be available. We welcome those living with any form of dementia or cognitive decline (accompanied by a family member or other care partner), as well as other community members to attend this special performance.
Registration is encouraged but not required.
Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
