Memory Cafe- Decorating Stones in the Garden

• 11:00-12:30 p.m. Stone painting activity
• Light lunch will be provided.
• After the event, San Antonio Botanical Garden invites participants to stroll the gardens.

What are Memory Cafe Events?

Individuals affected by dementia, along with their loved ones, face an increased likelihood of experiencing social isolation and a lack of meaningful connections compared to families unaffected by dementia. Memory Cafe' aims to address this by fostering intentional connections within the community among those who share similar experiences. The activities offered at Memory Cafe' are designed to be inclusive and supportive for individuals with dementia, providing cognitive stimulation while also creating a great opportunity for social interaction.
