Memory Box: Featuring Sarah Hennies
March 18 @ Contemporary Arts Center - Black Box Theater
concertnova presents composer and percussionist Sarah Hennies in an exploration of queer & trans identity, psychoacoustics, and the social and neurological conditions underlying creative thought. The evening will feature premieres of new works by Hennies and composer OGA, paired with an immersive installation from local artist Lizzy DuQuette.

OGA: the earth the air the fire the water return return return return (world premiere)
Juan Hidalgo arr. Hennies: Rrose Selavy (world premiere of new arrangement)
Prior to the concert, concertnova is co-hosting a "Meet the Composers" event on March 16 at Homemakers Bar, in partnership with Midwestern Lesbian. The event gives the public an opportunity to meet Sarah Hennies, OGA, and performing musicians from concertnova.
