This is a special liturgy to celebrate her life and to reflect on Leticia’s legacy and accomplishments as a faithful catholic servant. Leticia G. Barrera (8 Sep 1941 – 22 Sep 2022) served faithfully the Catholic Church, specifically San Fernando Cathedral (SFC) in many facets.

2. Spouse of SFC Deacon Enrique Barrera, and member of the Archdiocese of San Antonio Deacon’s Widow Ministry.
3. Member of the SFC Health Fair Committee
4. Member of the SFC Resources Accounting Ministry 2003-2021
5. Member of the SFC Fiesta Committee
6. SFC Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministry
7. SFC 8am Mass Lector
8. Member of marriage preparation classes with her husband Deacon Barrera
9. 2014 SFC Lumen Gentium Award recipient.
10. Director and Founder of the Enrique Barrera Blood Drive
11. Migrant Program Coordinator in the San Antonio Independent School District for over 30 years.
12. Leticia was always willing to help SFC and the Archdiocese of San Antonio with special events and celebrations such as La Posada, the Passion of the Christ, Christmas Concerts, and many others.
