A memorial graveside service for Mr. Sammy Fleming, 69, of Gilmer will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2024, at the LaGrone Chapel Cemetery with Reverend George Stevens officiating. Sammy passed away in Longview on Friday, June 21, 2024. Services and cremation are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Sammy was born on September 28, 1954, in Longview. He was the son of the late Earnest and Lela Ponder Fleming. Sammy graduated from Hallsville High School and served his country in the Army National Guard. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. Sammy loved his family and spending time at his home in Gilmer.
