Here is the lineup for this weekend's commemoration, recognition, and observances for Memorial Day weekend. It starts Friday evening where we go around and do Military Honors at 14 surrounding cemeteries. The times are listed on the bottom of the second photo. We will be changing out the Flags on Saturday morning at the Flag Park on the South side of town at 9am with the Rotary Club. At 1pm on Saturday, we will be doing a Flag Dedication Ceremony at the newly constructed Veterans Memorial at East Immanuel Church. On Monday, we will be doing our annual Memorial Day Ceremony starting at the Central Street bridge honoring the Navy and Coast Guard, then marching to the Amery Cemetery where we will continue our ceremony, and have music played by the Amery Cadet Band. Please join us in Honoring and Remembering the many who have paid the Ultimate Sacrifice so we can be free and enjoy these freedoms every day.
