I have established a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders who are coping with mental and physical disabilities. The mission of this organization is to promote healing and recovery through the therapeutic power of the ocean, while also fostering a sense of camaraderie and community.In honor of this mission, a Memorial Day paddle-out will be held at the Emerald Isle Western Access at 10:00 a.m. The foundation will provide foam surfboards, and Nick from RWS Surf School will also have boards available. Those who own surfboards are encouraged to bring them and participate in this Memorial Day paddle-out as we come together to remember and honor those we have lost.
