If you are interested in becoming a member or want to be baptized or just want to learn more about what membership/baptism means, join us on Saturday, October 19 at 4PM in the Family Room.Christian baptism illustrates the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. At the same time, it also illustrates our death to sin and new life in Christ.
Baptism, put simply, is an outward declaration of our inward change in following Jesus! An act of obedience because of the saving grace of our Lord. OR Why become a member?
A Biblical Reason: Christ is committed to the church.
A Cultural Reason: It is an antidote to our society.
A Practical Reason: It defines who can be counted on.
A Personal Reason: It produces spiritual growth.
Steps of Church Membership
1. Fill out interest form
2. Participate in Membership & Baptism Class
3. Interview with Board of Leaders/Pastor
4. Recognized as a member in front of the congregation
